Angle 3D alternatives: the comparison we do not win on price

The short answer

Angle 3D is the closest competitor to us on the shelf and the one we do not beat on price: it is a genuine 3D configurator with AR, it charges nothing per sale, and its entry plan costs less than ours. The honest split is scope. Angle configures products on Shopify; Custivo also runs try-on for wearables and puts the same scenes on ikas, Wix, Salla and any other storefront. If Shopify is your only storefront and configuration is your only need, Angle is very likely the better buy.

What each one actually does

Every cell below comes from the app's own Shopify App Store listing. Where a listing does not answer a row, it says so — we do not guess on a competitor's behalf.

Both flat, and theirs starts lower

Neither app takes a cut of sales, which makes this the cleanest price comparison on the site. Angle's ladder starts below ours and climbs above it; what you get at each rung is the argument.

Where Angle 3D is the better answer

A lower entry price

Angle's first plan costs less than our Starter and already includes 3D configuration, which sits in our Scale plan. For a single-storefront merchant who wants exactly that, they are cheaper and there is no way to dress that up.

Texture depth per product

Angle's plans are drawn around products and textures per product — a shape that suits deep material catalogues, where one model carries dozens of finishes, better than a flat scene count does.

Enterprise extras at the top

Their top tier runs to five hundred products with unlimited bundles — genuine catalogue scale. Our top tier spends its allowance on try-on and renders instead; a different bet, and not always the right one for you.

Where Custivo is the better answer

Try-on, not only configuration

For what is worn, Custivo puts shoes, glasses and hats on the customer through the live camera and composites watches, bracelets and rings from a photo. Angle's listing does not offer try-on, so for a wearables catalogue this is not a price comparison at all.

Four storefronts, not one

The same scenes run on Shopify, ikas, Wix and Salla, plus any other store through a script tag. If Shopify is not your only channel, where your configurator can follow you is the row that moves.

A Salla app for the Gulf market

Custivo is listed on Salla, the Saudi commerce platform's app store — whether Angle can follow you there is not something its listing says. A narrow advantage, and it only counts if it is your market.

So which one

Both lists are honest. If the left column describes your store, install the other app — you will be happier and we would rather you found that out here than after a month of trying.

Choose Angle 3D if

Shopify is your only storefront and you want configuration, not try-on.

Your products carry many finishes on few shapes, and you want to pay for textures rather than scenes.

Your budget is the deciding factor at the entry level.

Choose Custivo if

Any part of your catalogue is worn, and try-on would sell it.

You sell on ikas, Wix, Salla or your own storefront as well as Shopify.

You sell beyond Shopify — ikas, Wix, Salla or your own storefront.

Switching from Angle 3D

Straightforward in both directions, which is worth knowing before you commit to either: both apps are built on standard glTF and GLB, so the models move without conversion. Configuration rules are rebuilt, not imported. If you are choosing between the two for the first time, build one product in each during the trials — this is the one comparison on the site where we would not be confident predicting your answer.

Your glTF and GLB models import as they are — the modelling work is not repeated.

The same scenes run on Shopify, ikas, Wix, Salla and any other storefront through a script tag.

The trial is long enough to rebuild one product and compare the two side by side before you cancel anything.
